There
is a common belief that rich men attract women with ease, more
specifically because women like men with money and actress Salma Mumin
shares the same view.
The actress stated in an interview with
Delay on the Delay Show on Viasat 1 that she is not settling for
anything less than a man who is financially sound.
“I want a rich man who will take care of me.” She listed other attributes like love, care, God fearing and honesty.
Salma
has been in the movie industry for about 5 years. She was adjudged the
Best Promising International Actress at the Papyrus Magazine Screen
Actors Award (PAMSAA) held in Nigeria some years ago.
Touching on
how she got into the movie industry, Salma said that, she has always
wanted to be an actress but didn’t know how to go about it until a
friend introduced her to filmmaker Abdul Salam Mumuni.
She added
that through Mumuni, she got to know of other producers and after
featuring in Passion and Soul in 2008 by A.A Production, she knew there
was no turning back for her.
Born to Mr. Mahama Tando, a
businessman and Mrs Asibi Mohammed Tando, a trader in the Upper West
Region, Salma has worked with Nigerian movies stars like Tonto Dikeh,
Patience Ozokwor and Jim Iyke.
Some of the movies she has
featured in include Passion and Soul, The Will, Seduction, No Apology,
