12 NPP members Kidnapped at Tano South

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has said that the twelve (12) members of the NPP Rural Campaign Club were kidnapped or taken hostage by unknown gun wielding men in the Tano South Constituency in the Brong Ahafo region.

In a release dated 30th April, 2016, the party however said that no amount of machinations and intimidation can stop the wind of change.

This was contained in a release signed by Maxwell Mahama, Communication Director of Sunyani East Constituency and the Special Aide to the NPP Regional Chairman.

Earlier, Joy FM had led its midday news this Saturday with the story of an alleged kidnap of 7 people by ten armed men, one of them identified as the driver of the Deputy Minister of Health Hannah Bissiw, and the rest macho men working for her.

Those kidnapped were alleged to be health workers including doctors from Kumasi who were on a community health outreach organized by the NPP in her constituency.
